Meet the Log and Timber Crews

Michael Antonyuk

Michael Antonyuk

Michael Antonyuk brings six years of hands-on experience in the log home industry to Log and Timber Solutions, where he has spent the past 2.5 years as a trusted crew lead. He got his start as a deck carpenter, tackling anything construction-related, and grew up learning the ropes while tinkering on projects alongside his dad.

Mike originally worked for Dave at a previous company, where his cousin Victor served as a crew lead. After getting married, Mike decided it was time to move closer to home, relocating to South Carolina—just 45 minutes from the LTS shop in Pisgah, North Carolina.

A true family guy, Mike eventually recruited much of his family to join the LTS team. His brother Josh can often be found staining or sandblasting, and his cousin Victor made the move as well. As a crew lead, Mike is known for stepping up when jobs get tough. “I like taking on difficult work and learning new things,” he says. “Seeing clients happy with their home when we’re done makes it worth it.”

Josh Antonyuk

Josh Antonyuk, younger brother of crew lead Michael, joined Log and Timber Solutions after subcontracting and has been with the team since June 2023. He enjoys working in an environment where colleagues are usually close friends or family.

He began as a jack-of-all-trades in construction, bringing some mechanical skills. He handles a range of tasks, from staining and log rot repair to sandblasting.

He enjoys being his own boss and making sure the job gets done right from start to finish. It isn’t your typical 9–5 job, and the flexible schedule allows him to run errands when he needs to. Another perk of the job he values is getting to see new places every week.

Josh recently got married. Between work and newlywed bliss, he squeezes in time to fish.

Tom Kozlov

Tom Koslov

Tom Kozlov has been restoring log homes with LTS for 2 years now. He’s a hard worker and brings a deep appreciation for craftsmanship to the jobsite. Tom found his way to LTS through family connections. His cousins introduced him to Dave, one thing led to another, and he soon began working alongside different crews.

Continuing to hone his skills, Tom pitches in on multiple projects, washing and staining log homes. His favorite part of the job? “I really enjoy seeing the transformation of the house! I love seeing it being brought back to life.”

At just 24 years old, Tom grew up in a large family with eight siblings, which made him an instant team player and instilled a strong sense of responsibility.

When not transforming log homes, Tom enjoys time in the great outdoors and hunting.

Victor Antonyuk

Victor Antonyuk joined LTS two years ago. He was recruited away from another company by his cousin and hasn’t looked back. A lot of the LTS crew is made up of Victor’s family, which translates into a sense of trust, camaraderie, and collaboration that you don’t find anywhere else.

As a crew leader, Victor thrives on the everyday problems that pop up. “There’s always something new I run into, and it makes it a challenge, and getting to see all kinds of log home designs and features.” No two projects are the same, after all, and each log home presents a new set of problems to solve.  Victor appreciates the opportunity to keep learning while delivering quality work for homeowners.

Outside of work, Victor’s favorite way to unwind is traveling with his wife and taking his bike out for joy rides through the mountains.
